Mikoy Morales went emotional on having his big break which GMA Network gave him in Sirkus. In the press conference of Sirkus, he admitted that he has been waiting for roles like this. He also expressed his gratitude for receiving the role when he needed it the most.
Mikoy shared that portraying his character boosted his confidence.
“Naka-boost siya ng confidence ko. Feeling ko kasi hindi ako magaling na aktor. Parang may kulang sa akin.”
He also added that he had prayed for a big break.
“Ilang years ko ring naramdaman ‘yan. Pero I always pray na sana mabigyan ako ng magandang break.”
Mikoy expressed his gratitude towards the network.
“Thankful ako sa GMA 7 for giving me Bubble Gang and Pepito Manaloto. Na-prove ko na kaya kong mag-comedy. Ngayon naman, I want to show them na kaya kong mag-drama and Sirkus came at a right time sa buhay ko.”
Mikoy also shared how he won’t neglect his music and singing career while he films for Sirkus.
“Singer at heart pa rin ako. I still love to perform and write songs,” he said, then continued:
“But now, heto muna ang concentration ko.”
Mikoy continued how cast and staff of Sirkus worked hard to achieve the beautiful story of the said series.
“Ang ganda ng Sirkus at lahat kami, we worked so hard para makabigay kami ng magandang istorya na may halong magic at fantasy.”
