Congressman Alfred Vargas had a smooth comeback in showbiz. He currently also stars in a drama series, Kambal Karibal as Bianca Umali’s real father.
Alfred’s last full-length series on television turned out to be the 2016 version of Encantadia. He portrayed Mashna Amarro ng Hathoria-Lireo.
However, Alfred only has a limited time to go on a taping to avoid friction against his work in Congress. Meanwhile, he expressed his happiness on the good feedback from viewers.
“Damang-dama ko na sinusubaybayan nilang talaga araw-araw ang serye. At lagi nilang kinukumusta sa akin si Carmina. At alam nila kung ano ang nangyayari sa istorya.”
Alfred also released his own opinion when netizens slams them about their competition’s higher ratings.
“We believe in healthy competition and we do our best para lalong mapaganda ang bawat kabanata ng Kambal Karibal.”
Kambal Karibal stars: Bianca Umali as Crisanta, Miguel Tanfelix as Diego, Pauline Mendoza as Criselda and Kyline Alcantara as Cheska. The story of Kambal Karibal started with Crisanta (Bianca) and Criselda (Pauline). Unfortunately, Criselda dies due to an unknown disease.
However, she won’t rest in peace. Criselda, as a spirit, follows her sister around. The two are very friendly to each other until Diego (Miguel) comes into the story. Criselda’s anger grows because she feels Crisanta is the more favored child. Then, Criselda possesses the body of Cheska (Kyline) to gain the attention of Diego and their parents.
