Empress returns to “Ipaglaban Mo” this Saturday (Feb 10) to play the role of a woman seeking justice for her sister who was killed right before her eyes.
Marlie (Empress) was about to marry her fiancé Erwin (John Medina) when an unexpected tragedy struck the day before her wedding.
Her brother-in-law, Cardo (James Blanco), went to their house to get her sister Lisa (Isabel Oli) which led to a heated argument. Out of rage, Cardo ended up stabbing his ex-wife to death and immediately fled off the scene.
Will Marlie be able to find Cardo and make him pay for her sister’s death? Will her wedding still push through?
