Christopher de Leon stars in two television series from rival networks. He stars as Juancho Laureano in Sana Dalawa Ang Puso in ABS-CBN and also portrays Emmanuel de Villa in Kambal Karibal.
According to earlier reports, Christopher had already started taping for Sana Dalawa Ang Puso but the project was shelved then GMA Network offered him Kambal Karibal.
According to Jun Lalin in an article from ABANTE.com.ph, Christopher’s character in Kambal Karibal was killed. The reason behind turned out to be Kapuso network staff not believing Lolit Solis’ dialogue. Apparently, the dialogue included the upcoming death of Christopher’s character in Sana Dalawa Ang Puso.
“Dapat papatayin pa lang ang character ni Boyet sa Kambal, Karibal sa third week of April, pero nabuking-buking nga nila na hindi pa pala namamatay ang character niya sa Sana Dalawa Ang Puso, kaya hindi ko na sila mabola-bola pa, kaya pinatay na nga nila si Boyet sa Kambal, Karibal. Wala na akong magawa, ‘noh?!”
Christopher played the Jodi Sta. Maria’s father in Sana Dalawa Ang Puso. She plays as the twins in the said series while Robin Padilla and Richard Yap portray two of her leading men.
