Last February 24, MYX VJ Donny Pangilinan was spotted supporting the first-ever concert of Kapamilya newbie singer-actress Kisses Delavin. In an interview with PEP.ph, the 20-year old model-turned-actor answered bashers who accused him of using Kisses to gain attention.
During the concert, DonKiss fans were disappointed when Donny was not one of the special guests of Kisses, Instead, a Kapamilya hunk actor Tony Labrusca, one of the actors that is being linked to the PBB former housemate, appeared.
“Wala naman nagsabi sa akin, so wala, it just didn’t happen. I think they’ve been to a lot of projects together so they chose Tony, and magaling naman talaga si Tony, e,” Donny explained.
Donny was also asked if he is willing to perform with Kisses on her concert if they had the chance.
“Hindi ko pa alam, kasi hindi ko alam ang ipe-perform namin, e. And we didn’t really have projects together at that time, so baka medyo awkward, kasi wala pa kaming trabaho together. But now we have a project together, so let’s see what happens in the future,” he answered.
Despite being happy with the support of DonKiss love team, Donny dismissed the issue saying that she is only using Kisses to gain more attention from the public.
“I don’t think anyone’s using anyone. We’re just put in this position by different kinds of people. Siyempre, we’re in the industry and we have to be flexible. Sometimes, we’re just in this position and we’re not using anyone. So, I think, we just have to keep on focusing on our work and our supporters, and it’s gonna be okay,” he clarified.
