Ika-6 Na Utos will soon face its ending as it only has two weeks left. The series also stars Sunshine Dizon, Gabby Concepcion and Ryza Cenon.
The series, then, reveals the story of Emma (Sunshine) and her journey with the love of her life, Jerome (Gabby) and his evil mistress (Ryza). Due to her antagonistic character in the said series, Ryza receives harsh and negative comments from viewers.
Although it has high ratings, Ryza thinks that the show has to end because she has started getting affected by the viewers’ comments.
“For me I think, yeah it’s time. Yung viewers kasi masyado na ko naapektuhan sa sinasabi nila, not naman about Georgia, but about the show. Kasi parang pagod na rin silang panoorin ‘yung show.”
In an interview with PEP.ph in January 2018, GMA SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth G. Rasonable stated:
“Because it was so strong, we decided to stretch it to Saturday. This is the first soap that has ran from Monday to Saturday and beating all competition, and after a year, still the number one daytime program in the Philippines.”
Lilybeth added that sooner or later Ika-6 Na Utos will have to end.
“Of course, we have to prepare for their replacements and even if we are so happy with Ika-6 Na Utos, sooner or later, all good things will come to an end. We know that, pag siguro naisip namin na masyado nang OA, mangyayari din, yun even if we don’t want to.”
