Well-loved stories of forgiveness, hope, and love air on Jeepney TV as the cable channel offers special programming from Maundy Thursday to Black Saturday this week (March 29 to 31) led by “MMK” classics and the 2015 film “David & Goliath.” 

 

“MMK” Holy Week Specials delivers touching episodes on Maundy Thursday starting 4:15pm: “Pedicab,” the journey of Jomar (Ejay Falcon) who works hard to support his family but has to face imprisonment; “Kwintas” starring Aiza Seguerra as Myla, a lesbian who gets persecuted by her family; and “Relo” featuring the love story of couple Myda (Dimples Romana) and Sherwin (Zanjoe Marudo).  



Meanwhile, the special documentary “The King James Bible: The Book That Changed The World (2011)” airs on Good Friday (March 30) at 4:30pm. Another “MMK” classic, “Parol” starring Smokey Manaloto, Assunta de Rossi, and Kathryn Bernardo, follows at 6:30pm.

 

Be inspired by one of the most legendary battles in history  “David & Goliath,” a film about a simple shepherd who — through faith — transforms to become a warrior who takes on a terrifying giant, also airing on Good Friday at 9pm, followed by “Sangandaan: Paghahanap Kay Hesus Sa Camino Ignacio” at 11:45pm.

On Black Saturday (March 31), “Wanda’s Wonderful World,” starring Coney Reyes about a CEO in search for love, will air at 3pm followed by a replay of “David & Goliath” at 4:30pm. Catch the “Easter Vigil Mass” on Sunday (April 1) at 12mn.
