Rumors spread like wildfire that Kapamilya actor John Estrada will transfer to GMA Network after his stint on primetime series “The Good Son.” The 44-year old award-winning actor is rumored to join Alden Richards on the upcoming fantaseries “Mitho” that rumored to be scheduled to air later this year.
In a report written on Journal.com, GMA Network allegedly offered a bigger talent fee to John. The Kapuso Executives are interested to have an exclusive contract with the actor-comedian.
However, the said network switching has not been confirmed nor denied by both parties. If the rumors were true, John will leave his home network since 1991.
Meanwhile, John and his Kapamilya actress Mylene Dizon were involved in a controversy during their taping for their teleserye. According to reports, the said glitch started before Christmas last year.
As per reports, the said misunderstanding resulted in a ‘slapping incident’ which caused John to leave the show.
John recently denied the issue that he hurt or harassed his leading lady. He also called out the tabloid writer who wrote the article and warned him for a legal case due to libelous accusations.
