In a report written on PUSH.com, former child star Makisig Morales shared how he got his role in the fantaseries “Bagani.”
The 21-year old actor-singer considered his showbiz comeback a blessing.
“They called me para pumunta ako dito. May training na ginawa kami and may costume fitting,” he said in his interview with morning talk show “Magandang Buhay.”
Makisig said that he is really happy to be a part of the biggest Kapamilya telefantasya up to date.
“Hindi ko ma-explain kung ano ‘yung saya na nararamdaman ko. Masayang masaya ako na nakabalik ako sa showbiz. Blessing po talaga ito,” he added.
Five years ago, Makisig and his family migrated to Australia. He admitted that he misses his family but they’re excited about Makisig’s career opportunity.
“Sobrang excited po sila. Actually nung mga first years po namin, hindi kami kumuha ng TFC para matuto nang mabilis mag-English ‘yung mga bata. Pero dahil po sa show, kumuha kami ng TFC para mapanood nila. Sobrang excited po nila lalo na yung mga bata,” he said.
Makisig plays the role of Dumakulem in “Bagani,” which is one of the lead cast.
