Mark Bautista recently revealed that he loves both sexes in his book, Beyond The Mark. He, then, acknowledged that people had started to avoid and distance themselves away from him.
In a report from 24 Oras, Mark also shared that he prepared himself for people who couldn’t accept him. He disclosed that he had feared isolation from people.
In the said report, Mark understands that many wouldn’t favor what he did.
“Na-prepare ko rin ang sarili ko sa mga ganung bagay. Kasi, yun yung isa sa mga fears mo na kapag nilabas mo ito, marami talagang magdi-distance sa ‘yo. Maraming… alam mo yun, hindi pabor sa ‘yo. So, hinanda ko yung sarili ko doon. So I was prepared.”
Although Mark currently experiences hardships, he has no regrets about revealing his sexuality. He added that he can now sleep peacefully knowing he is not doing anything wrong.
“Nakakatulog ako nang maayos, alam kong wala akong ginawang masama, and malinis, maayos ang intensiyon ko.”
Mark proceeded that he is quite busy promoting Beyond The Mark. He also added that he currently enjoys people who share the same story as him.
“Masaya naman ako. Busy ako promoting my book. Ine-enjoy ko lang yung moment after releasing the book… na parang, you know, ang daming nagko-connect sa akin, nakaka-relate sila sa story.”
