Even as the year has just started, TV rating war is already heated.
January ratings are out and based on AGB Nielsen NUTAM People ratings, archival ABS-CBN and GMA Network both ruled two programming blocks.
GMA Network remained the preferred TV station in the daytime as Ika-6 Na Utos topped the rankings.
“Ika-6 Na Utos” scored 7.8% to be the most watch daytime program in January 2018.
The Kapuso network dominated daytime rankings having 9 out of 10 programs in the top 10. It was only “Wildflower” who represented the Kapamilya network in the leader’s board.
“Wildflower” scored 7.0% ratings, good for the number 3 position.
Other Kapuso programs in the top 10 are “Imbestigador” in 2nd place with 7.3% and “Tadhana”, “Eat Bulaga”, “Wowowin”, “GMA Blockbusters”, “24 Oras Weekend”, “Wish Ko Lang” and “Sunday Pinasaya” taking 4th to 10th spot with 6.7%, 6.6%, 6.4%, 6.3%, 6.1% and 6.0% ratings respectively.
If Kapuso ruled daytime, ABS-CBN is the leader in primetime.
Kapamilya’s long-running action drama teleserye “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” remained the undisputed primetime leader. The Coco Martin led teleserye posted an average rating of 12.4% for January 2018 to take primetime’s top spot.
Following “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” is “Pilipinas Got Talent” which scored 12.2% and placing 3rd is “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” with 10.9%.
Other Kapamilya programs in primetime top 10 are “MMK” at number 5 with 10.4%, “La Luna Sangre” at number 7 with 10.0% and “TV Patrol” in 10th spot with 9.9%.
Meanwhile, All Day ranking is exactly the same as the primetime leader’s board.
