Sharon Cuneta recently shared an Instagram post with a lengthy caption. She stated that she will count the Easter Sunday as a new beginning. Sharon also expressed her gratitude to the Lord and apologized for everything done that hurt certain people.
Many netizens noticed that Sharon has already unfollowed former onscreen partner and ex-husband, Gabby Concepcion, on Instagram. They also noted that Sharon may have potentially lost her friendship with Gabby and fans continued to express their sorrows on Sharon’s Instagram post.
“At the end of the day, the only questions I will ask myself are… Did I love enough? Did I laugh enough? Did I make a difference?”
In the said Instagram post, Sharon also wrote a very lengthy caption and thanked the Lord for the people He had sent her way.
“Tonight kahit nga gabi na, I will count as Day 1 of a new beginning. So apt as it is Easter Sunday, after all. And it, and spring, always bring a chance for new beginnings. I am tired of hurting, being hurt, focusing on the whys and why mes when I should be focusing on “Thank You that You chose me, Lord Jesus!” Thank You for the people You have sent my way since childhood to love and love me, guide me, teach me lessons, correct me when I’m wrong. I am sorry for everything I have done to hurt you.”
Sharon also apologized to the people she had hurt and added an apology for missing in action and avoiding contact with other people. She also shared her sorrow on losing a lasting friendship that caused such pain.
“And I am sorry TO all of those I have hurt, whether intentionally or not. Recent events have taken the wind out of my sails that I am sure you, my dearest friends and family, already understand why I have been MIA, avoiding messaging, e-mailing…just stopping by barely long enough to post on IG and FB and Twitter for the many who sincerely care for me and those I love, including you guys. You will never know how much pain losing what I thought would be a lasting friendship this time has caused me.”
Sharon lamented that her good intentions went wrong. She also started to understand in time and added that she knows that they can still be friends.
“How can only all good intentions go wrong? I guess that’s life. And because I trust God, I know that I will understand in time. I also forgive all of you, even if you don’t want or need my forgiveness, or want to ask for it but do not know how. We can still be friends people, but it is also totally alright to not care. As long as I have forgiven, nakabawas na ako sa kasalanan ko sa Diyos kahit konti lang.”
Sharon also didn’t want to hurt anyone anymore. She continued that she didn’t expect to hurt that much. She also wanted to keep the said friend to keep their child and their upcoming movie. This led to many speculations that Sharon may have lost her friendship with Gabby.
“As long as I know this is “what Jesus would do” at nagagawa ko ang gusto Niya kahit minsan nalilimot ko, alam ko masaya Siya. I never wanted to hurt anyone. I also certainly didn’t expect to be humiliated and hurt. I just wanted a forever friend to keep for our beautiful child, and a beautiful movie.”
Sharon added that destiny may have declined on the said opportunity.
