GMA Network and ABS-CBN Corporation won in New York TV and Film Festivals 2018. Alden Richards, Jessica Soho, other Kapuso documentarists and production staff went to the said festival. Chaira Zambrano and Jeff Canoy also represented ABS-CBN for their documentary.

The Bronze World Medal went to: ABS-CBN’s To Love and To Serve, GMA Network’s EDSA 31st Anniversary Spot, Brigada: Combat Camera Team, Yapak sa Puso ng Dagat and Batang Bomba. 2016 film AREA won the Bronze World Medal under the Direction category. Jessica Soho also earned Bronze World Medal as the Best News Anchor.
