- JaDine turns two years in their relationship together
- Both admit that they still fight even if they’re in between honeymoon and comfortable stage
- They still don’t talk about marriage
Two years ago, since James Reid and Nadine Lustre (JaDine), Viva’s Top Loveteam have officially revealed their real-life romance during their ‘JaDine in Love’ concert in 2016; and fast forward Reid described on Rated K that in the stage of their relationship, “Honestly, I don’t think it’s that frequent compared to other couples that I know, other relationships I’ve had.
“We are somewhere in between honeymoon and the comfortable stage.”
Lustre, on the other hand, supported what her boyfriend of two years have said about their dynamics as a couple, “If we fight parang mag-aayos muna kami and then we talk about it.”
To date, both shared that ‘marriage’ has not been a topic yet and they don’t want to hit that road just yet.
“No. I think that’s one of the things we don’t talk about. Off limits,” James stressed.
According to them, they are still young to think about such idea.
Nadine added, “We still want to do a lot of things pa.”
Their movie ‘Never Not Love You’ is currently running in cinemas nationwide, which opened on Black Saturday, March 31. Both played a young couple who were madly in love with each other and went to seek a new life in a foreign land; but after some challenges—they were confronted by the reality that love can be addicting and suffocating at times. It eventually led them to go on separate ways and grow in love even away from each other.
In the latest Antoinette Jadaone opus—Reid is Gio, a budding graphics artist who finally had his biggest break to work in London and Lustre is Joanne, a promising young brand manager who left her career in Manila just to unselfishly support the love of her life. This is also their reunion project with Jadaone, after working together in a 2016 TV series ‘Till I Met You’.
