  • Lea Salonga called out call center representatives.
  • A netizen told her that it may be an Indian representative.
  • Lea dragged the said netizen and told them not to discriminate others.

Lea Salonga recently took to Twitter to call out call center representatives. She reminded them to enunciate their words properly. One netizen told her that it was probably an Indian representative. However, Lea dragged the said netizen and told them not to even go there.

Lea also wrote that the words from the call center representative were all garbled and that she didn’t understand a thing that they said.

“Dear call center phone reps leaving messages for your customers, PLEASE ENUNCIATE! One such rep left a message that I could not, for the life of me, understand. Words were chewed up and garbled. Clarity is everything. Thank you.”

One netizen tried to take the blame towards Indian call center representatives. The said netizen continued that most Indian representatives have a problem with clarity.

“do u have any idea if that rep is a Filipino..Coz most of the reps that has a problem w/ the clarity are mostly from India sori”

Lea denied that it was an Indian representative. It would be a Filipino trying to sound American.

“Was definitely not Indian, hence, Pinoy. More specifically, Pinoy trying to sound American. #HuwagPo #ParangAwaMoNa”
