Jennylyn Mercado and Tom Rodriguez’s “The Cure” series is now considered one of the “Most Buzzed Show” in today’s Philippine television.
Tom and Jennylyn can’t be happier knowing the show has garnered more attention as expected and seeing people talk about it in social media.
“Magandang balita ’yan, ibig sabihin suportado nila ang The Cure dahil kakaiba at bago ang concept at nagustuhan nila,” Tom remarked. “Excited kaming gawin ang series at sana excited din ang viewers lalo na sa mga next episodes.”
The number of infected people is now growing, and a lot of action scenes are to be expected as the story goes on. Tom also revealed that there are many talents who joined as one of the MVD (Monkey Virus Disease) infected people.
He also mentioned that a big scene is about to happen, and one of the main characters will be bitten and will probably die. Also, in the next episodes, viewers will see many Kapuso stars joining the apocalyptic setting.
Tom is happy with his role. He is proud to do all his stunts without a double. “Ang sarap gawin ng fight scene. Mahilig kasi ako sa martial arts at matagal ko nang hinintay na mabigyan ako ng GMA-7 ng ganitong project,” he said.
