After the very successful Ika-6 Na Utos, GMA Network will make an Ika-5 Utos. This also made people think that the network would make all of The Ten Commandments or Decalogue.
The Fifth Commandment from the Bible is “Thou shall not kill.”
Ika-5 Utos stars Jean Garcia, Antonio Aquitania, Valerie Concepcion, Jake Vargas, Inah de Belen, Migo Adecer, Klea Pineda, Jeric Gonzales, Tonton Gutierrez and Gelli de Belen. The series will be under the direction of Laurice Guillen. In a recent Instagram post from GMA Network, they wrote in the caption:
“Here are the cast members of #Ika5NaUtos present during their story conference! Narito na ang pinakabagong aabangan natin sa Kapuso network!”
Ika-5 Utos will serve as Inah’s first time to work with her aunt, Gelli. This could also serve as Gelli’s way of getting to know Inah’s boyfriend, Jake. The couple also starred in an afternoon soap, Oh, My Mama! where they allegedly fell in love.
GMA Network has yet to announce whether they will make a series for The Ten Commandments.
