Ramon Tulfo, the eldest of the ten Tulfo siblings, recently slammed his own siblings, Wanda Tulfo-Teo and Ben Tulfo. The two had been involved in the controversial placement of ₱60 million worth of ads on Kilos Pronto which Ben and another sibling, Erwin Tulfo hosted.
Wanda also recently resigned as a Department of Tourism secretary. She resigned after state auditors flagged the alleged lack of contract when PYV-4 aired tourism advertisements on the said show.
Ramon also slammed Wanda on failing to hire intelligent people as her staff.
Ramon vs. Wanda and Ben
Ramon also wrote an opinion piece in Inquirer. In the said column, Ramon added how they should have advised her to sign a contract. He continued to explain what a blocktimer is.
“They would have advised her against signing a contract with PTV 4 where Ben was a blocktimer. A blocktimer is not an organic member of a radio or TV station but one who pays for airtime.”
Ramon also shared that Wanda remains clueless that Ben would get the lion’s share. Although he slammed Wanda for hiring unintelligent staff, he defended his sister on following the President Rodrigo Duterte’s injunction.
“She was clueless that Ben would get the lion’s share, so to speak, of the P60 million advertising contract. She was only following President Digong’s injunction for all Cabinet members to support PTV 4 which is a government network.”
Ramon, then, accused Ben of having the ‘middle child syndrome.’
However, he also slammed that Ben should have known better. Ramon also wrote that Ben insisted on his innocence. DoT signed the contract with the government network, not his company, Bitag Multimedia Network.
“No amount of pleading from me when the uproar broke out could persuade Ben to admit it was his fault and not Wanda’s.”
Ramon also called Ben “black sheep” and shared how the younger brother cursed him. He disclosed how he would support Wanda but not Ben.
“I am supporting Wanda’s fight to clear her name, but not Ben’s.”
