Kim Chiu and Tom Rodriguez hosted the Labor Day celebration held at IEC Convention Center in Cebu City where she met President Rodrigo Duterte.
Glancing at the actress, while giving a speech, President Digong was starstruck, stopped his speech, and said, “Pero siya man na si Kim Chiu? Ikaw ‘yan ma’am? Di, niingon ko gwapa ka. Asa nga ako?” (Is that Kim Chiu? Is that you ma’am? No, I said ‘you’re pretty.’ Where am I again?”
It’s obvious the President lost himself for a moment there, while Kim blushed upon realizing she caught the President’s attention.
Kim was born in Cebu, while Tom Rodriguez is from Samar that speaks both Cebuano and Waray.
The Chinita Princess was thrilled with her experience and described it as “kulba jud pero lingaw kaayo ug feeling!” (Nervous but feeling happy!)
The rumored boyfriend, Xian Lim, also liked Kim’s photo with President Duterte and co-host Tom Rodriguez.
“This experience is definitely one for the books!” Kim added.
Meanwhile, Kim’s movie with Ryan Bang, “Dotga,” is still available in cinemas and now on its 2nd blockbuster week.
The movie received positive feedbacks and the people are loving it.
