Yassi Pressman was bashed in her role as Alyana in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” when she decided to date another guy despite being married to Card (Coco Martin).
Her character, Alyana, went into a relationship with Marco, JC Santos and the Vice President’s son. She decided to end her relationship with Cardo who is now part of a wanted terrorist group.
Recently, while Marco was processing Alyana and Cardo’s annulment paper, his true personality started to discourage Alyana and now having doubts if she will proceed with the marriage.
Although the story is on its twisting point where Alyana is returning to Cardo, Yassi Pressman admitted that she is still being bashed by a few netizens but not like the same hate she received before.
“Mayroon pa rin pero di na ganun ka-strong tulad ng dati,” she said. “Madalas naman di ko na gaanong binabasa, pero pag nababasa ko, inaccept ko na lang at nirerespeto ko ang opinion nila. For us in a way, masaya kami dahil attached sila sa mga characters namin.”
Jessy Mendiola joined the cast as Nurse Andy who seems to look like a new love interest for Cardo. Yassi was asked about her opinion on the building Cardo-Andy relationship. She stated, “Cute din naman yung side nila pero panoorin na lang ying mga susunod na mangyayari.”
“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” was reported to extend until August or September 2018 due to it’s maintained high ratings. Yassi was also asked how long the series will go on.
“Wala pa ring sigurado, depende pa rin kung maraming gustong manood, tutuloy pa rin namin,” she said.
