Before he dove towards shooting for his action scenes for Victor Magtanggol, Alden Richards went through an intense physical preparation. Aside from going to the gym regularly, he also had parkour training.
In an interview with GMA News, Alden also revealed why he wanted to do parkour.
In the interview, Alden also disclosed that he now have calluses and corns on his palm.
“I’m doing parkour now para meron po tayong mai-offer na bago sa mga action scenes. May mga kalyo-kalyo tayo ngayon, kalyo dito’t kalyo doon.”
Alden also teased what he could now do with his new skill. He added that this may show how intense Victor Magtanggol will be.
“Naisip ko siyang gawin kasi parang siya ‘yung magagamit talagang skill. Kasi mga talon sa mga bubong, mga pag-baba from a certain floor to another floor. Ganun siya ka-intense.”
