Alden Richards’ “Victor Magtanggol” look is finally revealed in an exclusive report by “24 Oras.” The actor admits that it is his childhood dream to be a superhero, and now it’s finally taking shape.
“Alam naman ng karamihan na super fan ako ni Iron Man. So yung mga secret dreams ko before was really to play a superhero role,” says Alden.
He felt an unexplainable excitement when he finally wore the costume and to his surprise, he felt very comfortable to move and do some action.
The process behind making the costume is not a piece of cake and twice as challenging to wear it, “Mga isang oras kang babalutan ng parang materyal na tumitigas, masakit. Pero siyempre para talagang tailor-made ang costume, kailangan yun.”
The costume underwent several revisions before they agreed on the final outcome. And most proudly, it is a 100% Filipino made. “Everything is purong Pinoy. It’s all Filipino talent, effort, blood, sweat, tears, all in one project,” he said.
“Victor Magtanggol” taping is now set to full gears and Alden Richards’ fans can’t wait to see their idol as a Pinoy superhero.
