Alden Richards’ character as Victor Magtanggol has been compared to the fictional and mythological character, Thor. Many bashers also took it upon themselves to slam and fire at GMA Network for stealing the character from Marvel.
However, bashers just gave Victor Magtanggol a free publicity making it even more known to the public.
The Geekery, a page focuses on comics, movie reviews and pop culture, pointed out that Victor Magtanggol seemed to be a copy-cat of the Marvel superhero. However, Marvel doesn’t own Chris Hemsworth’s role as Thor as the character is originally from the Norse mythology.
In the said mythology, Thor is a hammer-wielding god of thunder, lightning, storms, oak trees, strength, the protection of mankind, in addition to hallowing, and fertility.
On the other hand, Alden revealed his superhero costume in an exclusive interview with 24 Oras. He showed off his Filipino-made superhero costume that he would use in the said series.
He also shared his excitement and revealed how comfortable in wearing the costume.
