Christian Bautista will be Alden Richards‘s rival in his new fantaserye, Victor Magtanggol. Although he doesn’t know how bad his character will be, he confirmed that he will really be a bad ass.
This will be the first time for Christian to play a kontrabida role.
VICTOR MAGTANGGOL.
“I still don’t know how bad my character is but I am Alden’s nemesis. I know I’m a bad ass. I’m not that bad at first but I am going to be real bad as the story progresses.”
Christian mentioned that he wanted a change from “goody-goody” roles.
“For a change, I want to do something out-of-the-box. I don’t want to get stuck doing goody-goody roles.”
ON THE CLASH.
Christian is part GMA Network’s newest singing competition, The Clash that premiered yesterday, July 7. He will be a judge together with Lani Misalucha and Aiai delas Ala while Regine Velasquez-Alcasid as host.
The show will also feature battles between singers as they aim to become the country’s next singing superstar.
“What makes the competition different is that each clasher pits himself or herself with an opponent right from the start. It’s not like there are 10 contestants and one will be picked as winner in the end.
“We will choose one winner every night until only one remains and is declared the champion.”
Christian also revealed how a clasher would get his vote in the competition.
“A clasher will get my vote if he or she chooses the right song and sings it well. When it comes to performance, they have to connect with us and the TV audience to make us feel their song.”
