Janine Gutierrez is part of the cast of ‘Victor Magtanggol’ and will play Gwen Regalado – a field reporter and daughter of a politician named Hector to be played by Eric Quizon.
During her interview, the young star admitted that she is still anxious for her role.
“Ninerbyos lang po ako siyempre kasi napakalaking project po. Kaya kinabahan po talaga ako, pero at the same time honored po ako na ako ‘yung inalok ng ganitong klaseng role sa ganitong kalakaing project.”
What bothered her the most is the fact that what could be the reactions of the Aldub fans. She doesn’t want to end up like Andrea Torres, who had been bashed by the Aldub fans. She is thankful that she doesn’t have the same number of bashers as Torres experienced.
“Siyempre naisip ko po ‘yun at ayoko talaga may masaktan or may magalit. Or maraming ma-dissapoint, sobrang kinabahan din po talaga ako.
“Ramdam na ramdam ko ‘yung suporta ng mga supporters ng GMA, mga Kapuso Brigade, mga tagahanga ni Alden na talagang napakabait sa akin.
“Honestly, wala naman po ako sa posisyon na mag-demand kung ano gusto kong project. Hindi naman po ako ganun pong klaseng artista.
“So, masuwerte lang po talaga ako na naiisipan po ako bigyan ng trabaho and ‘yun po ay ipinagkakatiwala ko na rin sa GMA na ‘yung ibinibigay nila sa akin ‘yun po talaga ‘yung kaya ko at tama para sa akin,” she concluded expressing her gratitude to GMA.”
