Matteo Guidicelli retweeted a post by BuzzFeed about how plastic straws pollute the oceans and endanger marine life.
The actor wrote, ‘We should ban straws. If they don’t, we should stop using them. Let’s take the first step. No more plastic straws.”
However, a netizen questioned Matteo’s position in this so-called No Plastic Straw campaign. He challenged the actor to practice what he preach.
Matteo replied in a very polite manner. He said that he’s already taking the first step by not using plastic straw in his resto.
The said netizen continues to express a contradictory statement saying that the actor should prove that he will never use plastic even inside the house and vehicle. He even told said that Matteo is only using this campaign for publicity.
The actor replied by admitting the all of us use plastic. But, with small acts like not using plastic straws will eventually lead to a bigger advocacy.
