Kuya Kim Atienza recently published a tweet, expressing his love for fellow It’s Showtime hosts, Coleen Garcia, Eric “Eruption” Tai and Billy Crawford. The post started speculations of Billy leaving the noontime show.
One of Kuya Kim’s followers noted how their “X” pose probably signifies something they have in common – exiting It’s Showtime.

Kuya Kim was one of the original hosts of the program since 2009 and left in 2016. Both Garcia and Tai were mainstays from 2012 and left in 2016.
Crawford, on the other hand, joined in 2011 and went on a hiatus after his wedding with Garcia in April 2018. He, however, has yet to return as a regular on It’s Showtime.

One of Billy’s best friends and It’s Showtime co-host, Vhong Navarro dismissed the rumors and said:
“Parang in-enjoy lang niya muna ang bakasyon after the wedding. Saka ang dami niyang shows. Nag-finals pa ang Your Face Sounds Familiar. In-enjoy din niya ang buhay may-asawa…
“Ang dami niya kasing gustong gawin. Kaya ang hirap kung pagsabayin niya ang Showtime ‘tapos yung buhay may-asawa, ang bago niyang show, may album pa. Kaya ibinigay na muna sa kanya. Ang tagal na niyang gustong gawin, ‘tapos hindi niya magagawa kasi ang dami niyang sked. Tapusin niya muna yun. Hindi pa niya nasabi kung kailan siya makakabalik.”
