The reason why Enrique Gil was pulled out from Liza Soberano’s “Darna”

  • Enrique Gil was supposedly part of Darna but was pulled out of the project.
  • The production said that they have other plans for the actor.
  • Enrique is happy for Liza’s new movie and hot body.

Darna is Liza Soberano’s first solo movie since the LizQuen love team was formed. However, it was not originally intended that way.

Enrique Gil confirmed that he was supposedly part of the movie and expected to play Darna’s leading man.

The actor explained, “Dapat kasama talaga ako sa Darna. Nag-meeting na kami, nag-storycon pero…maganda yung character, interesting.

“Tapos, a couple of weeks after, they called me back. Kumbaga, sabi nila huwag na ituloy. Kinancel nila because they’re offering another project. Basta abangan po nila.”

Liza already started filming Darna. She revealed that Darna has no leading man, but they are expecting another LizQuen movie soon.

Sabi po parang may movie ulit kaming gagawin but I’m not sure as to when we’re gonna start shooting.

Ang alam ko po si Darna, walang leading man. Love interest po, pero walang leading man.”

Enrique is fine not being part of Liza’s upcoming movie. Instead of worrying, he praised Liza’s physical improvement.

“Super sexy! Ibang klase. Compared to before, she really works out really hard. Sa diet niya, sa kinakain niya, every day.

“It shows, it shows. Pati sa taping, sila na nagsasabi na ang payat niya. She’s doing a great job. Para sa akin, siya talaga ang Darna,” he commented.
