The young actor proposed to Nicole in Australia on September 2. He announced that his girlfriend said yes by posting a photo on Instagram captioned, “My fiancée.”
Nicole confirmed it with her own Instagram post captioned: “He stole my heart, so I’m stealing his last name” with a photo of a plate scribbled with the question “Will you marry me?”
Makisig revealed how their romance started, “Nakilala ko po siya sa isang gathering with friends. She became my friend. At that time, I was at my lowest. Pero nakilala ko si Nicole and siya ulit yung nagpasaya sakin.
“Eventually, I slowly fell for her and decided to tell her my feelings. Then it struck me really hard that I know she will be the one that I can be with for rest of my life.
“Nag-propose ako sa C Restaurant na isang fine dining sa Perth. It’s a revolving restaurant na habang kumakain kayo umiikot yung buong floor ng restaurant at makikita mo yung buong Perth.
“Kinakabahan talaga ako kasi hindi ko alam kung tatanggapin niya ang proposal ko. But praise God she did!”
Now, the couple is planning the details of their tying the knot.
“Now I’m looking forward to planning kung kailan ang date ng wedding namin. Parehas po kami blessed to have each other and masaya po ako. Baka sa Australia ang wedding,” the 21-year old actor concluded.
