Sarah and James visited the studio of It’s Showtime where Ryan Bang revealed that a friend from CJ Entertainment contacted him. During their talk, Ryan shared that the company that originally made the movie praised the Philippine version.

Comparing the IMDB figures of the seven Miss Granny versions, the Philippine version became the highest-rating adaptation with 9.7 score out of 10. Ranking second, South Korea, Thailand and Indonesia‘s versions tied with 7.3 score out of 10. Vietnam‘s version scored 7.2 out of 10. China‘s version had a score of 6.7 while Japan‘s version had 6.4 out of ten.
