It has been two years since James Reid and Nadine Lustre had their last television series in ABS-CBN. Although they have solo projects, fans clamor for a Kapamilya TV series for the reel-and-real-life couple.

A lot of fans expressed their need for a new project for Nadine and James.

Next project gets terminated.
In September, TV and film director Theodore Boborol revealed that he was offered to direct James and Nadine. The project, however, never materialized.
“Thank you. I was offered to direct Jadine for my next soap but it didn’t materialize. I don’t have a new project yet and my contract is ending early next year.”
They were supposed to star in a series titled, Magica Blanca. In August, Deo Endrinal listed Magica Blanca on an Instagram Story as one of the series Dreamscape will probably be rolling out this year. They have yet to share any more details about the upcoming teleserye which reports say will star James and Nadine.

JaDine’s past projects.
James and Nadine starred in On the Wings of Love. This centered around two different people — Clark, a boy living his American life and Leah, a simple girl with an American dream, who are forced to marry in order to legally stay and continue working in the United States. This premiered in August 2015 and ended in February 2016.
They also starred in Till I Met You. This told the story of three friends — Iris, a girl; Basti, a boy; and Ali, a closeted homosexual — who eventually fall in love with each other and find themselves in an unusual love triangle. This premiered on August 2016 and ended January 2017.
