“Inday Will Always Love You” is going international as GMA Network signed an exclusive distribution agreement with the Chinese multi-media company FZ Entertainment Co., Ltd.
The signing of agreement happened on October 16 during the MIPCOM 2018 event held in Cannes, France.
Palais des Festival, Cannes GWI Vice President Roxanne Barcelona and officials from FZ Entertainment and the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China attended the signing ceremony.
The agreement between GMA and FZ is the distribution of the Kapuso romantic-comedy series in China – the world’s biggest entertainment content market. The show’s international title will be “Happy Together.”
The series will soon air on China via pay TV and OTT-IPTV.
The challenge is that the Chinese network is quite hard to penetrate and it will be a big achievement for GMA if “Inday Will Always Love You” will turn out to be a big hit on Chinese television.
