Regine Velasquez-Alcasid officially transferred to ABS-CBN. She signed with ABS-CBN on October 17, Wednesday. On the same day, ABS-CBN held a grand media press conference at the Dolphy Theater to welcome Regine.

Asia’s Songbird expressed her appreciation for the welcome ABS-CBN gave her. Regine doesn’t know how long she can still sing and she wants to work with talented singers.
“Sobra akong touched na touched sa welcome na ibinigay sa akin ng ABS-CBN kasi hindi ko akalain na ganun ako kaimportante, hindi po ako mailusyunadong tao. But the reason why I’m here is because hindi ko alam kung hanggang kailan ko pa kayang kumanta, and I want to work with their talented singers.”
Regine wanted to work with ABS-CBN and called the network ‘number one.’
“Yun talaga yun, na bago man lang matapos yung career ko, masabi kong nakatrabaho ko din ang number one station.”
Suzette comments.
Doctolero still wishes the best for Regine. She also expressed her love toward Asia’s Songbird.
“Hmm. Di ko isusulat sa post na ito kung anuman ang nasa isip ko. Nope. Coz I love Regine. And I wish her all the best kahit na nagsasalita siya now ng foul against the network. Intindihin na lang natin. Spread love!”
Despite having negative reactions from Kapuso friends, Suzette remains firm on her decision not to react negatively on Regine’s perception on ABS-CBN. “Hahaha. i love her. So di ko siya kokontrahin.”
Regine is set to judge Search for the Idol Philippines in 2019. She is already bound to sing the theme song for The General’s Daughter and ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID. She is already set to perform in ASAP and star in a sitcom with her husband, Ogie Alcasid.
