Latest local film offerings ‘Through Night and Day and Kung Paano Siya Nawala had lackluster results in the box-office as it failed to reach 1 million pesos on their opening day of showing.
In an article by Pep.ph, Noel Ferrer said JM de Guzman at Rhian Ramos-starrer via Kung Paano Siya Nawala only earned a meager 700 thousand on its opening day.
The film is a story of a man who has “face blindness” (a medical condition that makes it difficult for him to recognize new faces) who fell in love with Ramos’ character who also has her own story to tell.
De Guzman’s most recent box-office film was That Thing Called Tadhana opposite Angelica Panganiban earned a whopping 134 million pesos.
Meanwhile, Through Night and Day starring Paolo Contis at Alessandra da Rossi got an even lower 600 thousand opening box- office receipts.
The movie tells the story of a couple who traveled to Iceland just to realize their personality differences.
Da Rossi’s recent film Kita Kita was a huge box-office and social media success which even gave birth to “AlEmpoy” love team. The said film earned 320 million pesos in box office gross.
