On a January 23 episode of Magandang Buhay, Maymay Entrata shared that aside from being the breadwinner of the family, she also sent her three cousins to school.
“May pinag-aaral po ako ngayon, tatlong pinsan ko po. Nag-promise kasi ako sa kanila, kasi nga (galing) broken family din sila.
“Kasi ako na rin ang parang tinuturing nilang ina, kaya sabi ko ‘paaaralin ko kayo.’ T’saka honor (students) sila,” as she gladly essayed the story to the hosts of the morning show on Kapamilya network.

Entrata was born and raised in Cagayan De Oro, together with her grandparents while her mother is an OFW in Japan. Despite of all her success, it is such a humble trait that she never forget to share what she has to her family and relatives.
Most of all, she treated the challenges that came her way as her inspiration and refused to let her drag down.
