The online world was initially rocked when the Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde announced on January 22 that he and the Kapuso star Maine Mendoza were exclusively dating.
The revelation attracted numerous negative comments online especially from the AlDub fans who are rooting for the loveteam Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards. Strings of harsh feedback where stated affecting not only the actors themselves but also their families.
Now, the director Ronald Carballo has also given his sentiment about this issue on his social media, he pointed out to the AlDub fans to not bother the endearment of Maine and Arjo, that they don’t know Arjo well enough and in the first place do they even know the true Alden that they partner with Maine.

The director tweeted, “Bakit nagagalit kay Arjo Atayde and fans ng Aldub kung ang iniibig ni Maine ay ang mahusay na aktor na si Arjo? Di ba nila kilala ang tunay na pagkatao ng minamanok nila para kay Maine?! Mga bulag ba sila o sadyang mga bobo’t tanga lang sila. Hoy, Aldub! Mga TANGAhanga lang kayo! Pakialam nyo sa mga gustong ibigin ng idolo nyo?! Magtigil kayo at di irn naman si Maine and gusto ni Alden! Tuklasin nyo kung ano ang gusto nya. “Ano” muna ang tuklasin nyo, bago ang “sino. Iba!”
The statement of the director reached an AlDub fan and did not like what Carballo wrote. The fan then shared the post even tagging him. Directly hitting him for dragging Alden in this issue.
