It has been spreading in social media that the Kapamilya network might possibly remake its mermaid series “Marina.” Though this was not yet officially announced by ABS-CBN, netizens just can’t shake off their excitement.
This fantasy-drama series was originally starred in by Claudine Barretto and was last shown on November 12, 2004. After 15 years, it is making noise again after Star Cinema posted in twitter a poll of who would be best fitted for the next Marina role.
Netizens were more excited after seeing Bela Padilla re-tweeting the said post and quoting if she can audition for the role.
Padilla tweeted, “Can I audition for this?” in a reply to Star Cinema after running an online poll on which actress “would make a splash as Marina.”
