Kapamilya’s hottest loveteam, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, have recently made the netizens speculate about a break-up rumor after a series of misconceptions happened, like the unfollowing issue on Instagram.
But Daniel Padilla once and for all breaks his silence and clarified the rumors.
The actor got an interview with Cinema One and PEP.ph during the red carpet premiere of “Familia Blondina,” the comedy film of his mother, Karla Estrada. When asked about the break-up rumors that has been circulating online, Daniel directly appealed to those who have been spreading the rumors to “stop the stupidity.”
He said, “Puwede ba, tigilan niyo na ‘yung kagaguhan na hiwalay na kami?”
When asked about the ‘unfollowing issue,’ he responded with, “Mukha bang hiwalay na kami? Mukha ba?”
He stressed that he and Kathryn are totally fine and there is nothing to worry about. Adding that the netizens are only making a big deal out of the incident.
Oo, ayos lang, ayos lang kami. Oo nga naman, tayo lang ang nagpapalaki ng mga bagay-bagay.”

Earlier, Karla Estrada had already clarified this issue during the press conference of her upcoming movie, “Familia Blondina.” She addressed the rumors by clarifying that Daniel had just taken a month leave to have a vacation and unwind, and in fact, he is with Kathryn.
She also added that Daniel has been staying in Nueva Ecija to give his “full support” to the congressional bid of his father, Rommel Padilla.
“For the record, walang ganyan. Don’t mind the people who think otherwise. [In fact] Daniel asked permission from his bosses at ABS-CBN to take a month—the whole of February—off, so he could relax … go on vacation. He was with Kathryn. After that, he will go abroad with his younger brother Carlito and his dad, Naldy Padilla. He’s really taking a break because, come March, he’s expected to do two movies,” she added.
