Asia’s Songbird, Regine Velazquez, hilariously responded to the True or False segment in the Tonight with Boy Abunda show. As they started, Abunda initially asked the Songbird about how she charges for a three song performance. She clarified things and also revealed some interesting facts about her and her husband for the first time.
“First, nasa milyones na ang singil ni Regine Velazquez para sa tatlong kanta. True or False?”
“False, naman BIR hello,” she immediately replied to Abunda whilst giggling.
On the defense of Abunda, he said that Regine can actually do a show for free, specially for her closest friends.
This was followed by a question if Regine loves to eat sour food, specially sour unripe mangoes, to which she responded ‘True.’
During the interview, it was revealed that Regine sleeps in a cross-legged position. Regine also shared that her husband, Ogie Alcasid, was surprised and laughed the first time he discovered the Songbird’s unconscious mannerisms in bed.
She then admitted that she’s now taking some voice lessons to learn new techniques and recall some of the older techniques that she used to know. She also shared that as she ages, her singing capacity is also changing and must therefore learn new techniques to cope with ageing and to also take care of her voice at the same time.
