Last March 02, ‘The Generals Daughter’ lead star Angel Locsin, together with her co-stars went to Baguio City to celebrate the Panagbenga Festival.
Angel was one of those who performed during the event and her fans were among those who warmly welcomed her. But little did she know that a fan of hers was left hanging in false hopes after her staff members did not give a chance to take photo ops with the star.
Angel posted a photo during the event on her Instagram account extending her gratitude, and captioned it with, “Thank you for the love Baguio❤️ See you guys tomorrow morning, March 3, 7am, for the parade!😉 Excited for my first Panagbenga experience!”

The post received a comment from an avid fan expressing how crestfallen she was for the false hope that Angel’s staff did.
“Di man lang ako pinagbigyan makapagpapic saiyo kagabi sa backstage ng make up artists mong si @mikebawa na puro mamaya ng mamaya tsaka si @patriciaco mga paasa yang dalawang yan sinabi nlang sana na di pwede para di na ako umasa pa! ending NGANGA tuloy inabot ko @therealangellocsin. Linolook forward ko pa sana kase finally after 7yrs makikita ulit kita! Ang malas tlaga hinabol ko pa kayo sa backstage mga 30minutes ako naghintay pero nakalabas na daw kayo! Sobrang nalungkot ako!”
Despite the request that the fan made, Angel answered politely in defense of her staff, and said, “hi! Sorry to hear that. I hope magawa natin ito next time may program rin kasi na sinusunod, plus the organizers rin, kaya hindi rin ata pwedeng lumabas or mag decide sila magisa. Pero pasensya na talaga I know maiintindihan mo naman yun sayang hindi ka nagpunta sa harap para makapagpapic tayo Salamat sa pagpunta Hope to see you tom”
The fan then replied insisting that she waited for 30 long minutes after the staff said that Angel already left.
“Pasensya na din sobrang idol lng tlga kase kita naghintay ako ng 30mimutes tsaka lang nila sinabi na lumabas na kayo nagtaka ako kung saan kayo lumabas! pinaghandaan ko pa naman nag outfit ako ng bongga para saiyo huhu sana idol mahug kita bukas at makapagpa pic man lang saiyo! ang hirap kagabi hinihintay kita mag cr pero sina zanjoe, loisa and ryza lng nag cr! kung dun kna sana sa harapan ko wala nang makakpigil sakin kahit mga guard pa yan, PA mo o make up artist mo ihahug kita ng mahigpit! sana bukas mapagbigyan man lng ako 3am dun na kmi sa session.”
Angel directly replied, “doesn’t mean na inaallow kong idisrespect ang staff ko ha? Mahal ko mga yan”
