In the newest top rating segment of showtime, ‘KapareWho,’ Vice Ganda was teased by the madlang people because Kuya Waiter Ion Perez. One of the awaited scenes and moments in the Kapamilya noontime show, ‘It’s Showtime,’ is the moments of host Vice, Kuya Waiter Ion, and Ate Gurl Jackque, a showtime dancer.
Ion started as an escort for ‘Ms Q and A’, a recently culminated LGBTQIA segment of the show. From Kuya Escort, Ion is now Kuya Waiter in the replaced segment. Ate Gurl and Kuya Ion play as waiter and waitress who offer drinks to the contenders of the show and to the hosts, as well.
Everyday is a new flavor. Ate Gurl and Kuya Ion are known to be in competition everyday in winning Vice Ganda’s affection. The two of them offer juices to Vice.
On March 8, 2019, in the said segment, Vice ask Kuya Ion what kind of juice he brought for him. Then Ion answered, “Kalbu.”
Vice was a little shocked, and co-host Jhong and Vhong started laughing over it.
Vice is known in using wigs or artificial hair because of the minimal natural hair that he has.
Vice clarifed it but still Ion said it was “Kalbu.”
Then again Vice asked, so Ion defended what he said.
“Kalma kalang, kasi ang ibig sabihin ng Kalbu ay KALma kalang, BUbuuin ko ang puso mo!” Kuya Waiter Ion said.
This flattered Vice Ganda a lot, showing his kilig gestures.
But suddenly, some of the madlang people shouted in chorus repeatedly, “Kalbu… Kalbuu…”
Vice then asked the madlang people who chanted it, and even teased “Bigyan ng Christmas bonus yan, pasayahin natin yan” and the show continued.
The show showed how comfortable the hosts, and even their co-workers, were with each other. This only shows how tight the relationship they have as a family.
