Prime time, as we call it, is where many people watch television programs to relax, to be entertained, or to kill time. The students who come from school. Also, employees are already home at that time. And it’s the most important time for advertisers to spend their money, as this is where majority of their target market sees their ads. That’s the biggest reason why TV networks put their big budgeted shows and their biggest artists on the primetime bloc.
According to the Nationwide Urban TV Audience Measurement (NUTAM) People’s Ratings, ABS-CBN’s ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ is still the most watched TV program in the country with 16.0% versus its rival show, ‘Kara Mia,’ with only 10.8%. The Kapamilya series is still leading for more than three years now with 5.2 points. Coco Martin as Cardo and Yassi Pressman as Alyana turn emotional as they reunite with their families. And now, Cardo and his group plans on how to win against their opponent, which happens to be the father of their recently killed baddie named Brando. ‘Kara Mia,’ on the other hand, has Mika Dela Cruz (Mia) and Barbie Forteza (Kara) sticking back together in the morning, which makes Mia burst into anger as she doesn’t want to be at the back of her sister Kara.
On its time slot, ‘The General’s Daughter’ also became the most-watched TV series with 15.3%, while Sahaya only got 11.2% rating.
In this episode, Rhian (Angel Locsin) was spotted by the general as one of the spies in their camp; while Sahaya (Bianca Umali) doesn’t want to go school because she got bullied by her classmates.
Halik scored 11.2% while the rival Toda One I Love gained 9.1 percent. Halik stars Jericho Rosales as Lino, Yam Concepcion as Jade, Sam Milby as Ace, and Yen Santos as Jacky. Pinoy Big Brother Otso received 9.0 percent versus its rival My Golden Life, which got a total of 5.8%. On PBB, as housemates underwent intense questioning by the house challengers and ex housemates, and has published the BIG FOUR. My Golden Life stars Park Si Hoo, Shin Hye Sun, Lee Tae-Hwan, and Seo Eun-Soo. The parents of the lovers didnt want them to get married.
With this comparison, the Kapamilya Prime Time series got the highest percentage and shows that the actors / actresses of the shows did the job well.
