Who wouldn’t know Asia’s fantasy girl Kim Domingo?
Known for her sexy body, pretty face, and great sex appeal, Kim Domingo has become the Philippines’ Pantasya ng Bayan. But, behind the sexy image that the actress carries, Kim Domingo revealed that she doesn’t want to be known just as a “sexy” actress.
The Kapuso bombshell had genuinely revealed, since then, that she doesn’t want to stay with her image of just being “sexy.” On her 2nd debut cover in FHM she mentioned that she wants to show that her talents are not just constrained on just being sexy.
“Ngayon ang image ko talaga is pa-sexy, pero sana mabigyan ako ng pagkakataon gumawa ng heavy drama. Gusto ko talaga yun. Gusto kong patunayan sa ibang tao na hindi lang ako pa-sexy; na kaya ko rin umarte. Gusto kong makilala bilang aktres at hindi lang sexy icon. Pero actually, okay (din) makilala bilang sexy na aktres. Bakit hindi?”
And now, Kim Domingo is paving her way in showbiz. The sexy actress revealed recently that she stopped accepting overly sexy roles. In an interview at a recent visit to the set of the upcoming movie “Kiko en Lala,” the actress revealed that doing such things (sexy roles) doesn’t make her happy anymore.
“I liked what I was doing when I first started in show biz, because it was quite similar to my prior job as a model. But one day, I realized my heart simply wasn’t in it anymore.”

Kim Domigo is seen in Bubble Gang and even has her own segment, Patikim ni Kim. The segment itself has a different attack and meaning to the audience which is why the segment was adjusted.
“Kahit sa Bubble Gang, kasi ang Bubble Gang, siyempre kailangan talaga dun, pa-sexy ka. Tapos meron akong Patikim ni Kim, which is may double meaning naman talaga yung ginagawa ko dun. So, medyo in-adjust na rin po yun.”
The actress also cleared that her boyfriend, Michael Acuna, was not involved in this decision, but was rather supportive, even with her doing sexy roles.
“He has never meddled in my career in the three years we have been together. Never niya akong pinagbawalan.”
Kim also shared that some were asking whether its too early to shift image on her career which could cause less projects and such. The actress answered by saying,
“Actually, yun nga din sinasabi nila, na masyado pang maaga. Pero, yun nga sinasabi ko na, ‘Paano kung ikaw, ikaw yung nasa sitwasyon ko, hindi ka na masaya, anong gagawin mo?”
She really dreams that one day, she will be addressed as an actress and even dreams of winning a best actress award.

Kim Domingo was seen in GMA Network’s ‘Magpakailanman: Hating Kapatid sa Asawa,’ and her first series, ‘D’ Originals.’ Truly, the actress has great potential in the acting business.
