“Medyo surreal.” This was what Alden Richards said when he set foot in the ABS-CBN compound on June 25, Tuesday. He was accompanied by his newest leading lady Kathryn Bernardo on his visit to the network giant to promote their upcoming movie.
“Welcome to ABS-CBN,” Kathryn told Alden.
The Kapuso actor then expressed his thoughts about visiting the network.
“Medyo surreal na nandito ako ngayon. Nandito kami ni Kath to shoot mga video plugs and ‘yung mga digital shoot,” Alden said.
Afterwards, with Kathryn taking the lead, the two went on to the Star Cinema office to have themselves blessed by a priest and also to pray for the success of their upcoming movie Hello, Love, Goodbye during a mass.
The said movie is the first project of the tandem. Kathryn often stars with real-life partner Daniel Padilla, while Alden is one-half of the phenomenal AlDub tandem alongside Maine Mendoza.

The newest tandem then had an intimate lunch with Star Cinema managing director Olivia M. Lamasan before Alden met with ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak and ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez.
Photos and videos of the unusual meetup have been making the rounds on social media and became the new subject of interest of netizens.

The romantic drama movie Hello, Love, Goodbye, which was shot in Hong Kong, is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina who even went to Thailand for the post-production of the film. Maymay Entrata, Joross Gamboa, Kakai Bautista, Jeffrey Tam, and Anthony Jennings are also part of the cast in this Kathryn and Alden OFW love story.
The movie’s teaser which was released on June 14 trended online.
The movie is slated to be out in the cinemas on July 31. This was announced during their poster unboxing and playdate reveal event held in Trinoma on June 15.
