Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto was a guest on good friend Erich Gonzales’ vlog. In the ‘True or False’ challenge, the actress revealed her thoughts about marriage and love.
“There‘s some phases na yes, I wanted to get married before 30. Tapos mayroon din akong isang phase na mas gusto ko na lang muna ng anak bago magpakasal—but no judging, can‘t judge,” Julia answered.
“But it depends really who you are surrounding [yourself] with and [are surrounded] by,” Julia added.
She also revealed she is looking forward to having a baby in the future as she dreams of becoming a mother.
“Pero kung ikakasal ako, sana talaga before 30. Siguro (kung) 22 ako ngayon, mga six years from now, I can get married, pero I‘m really, mas naglu-look forward to have a baby. Dream ko talagang maging mother,” explained the ‘Block Z’ actress.
When asked if she was in love, the actress answered: “I‘m not trying to say that I’m not in love with anybody. I‘m just in love with the peace that I’ve gained.”
She also said that she is enjoying and loving herself as of now.
“Now I have peace. It‘s been good at work, it‘s been good with my friendships with other people, and my relationship with my family. Sila ang una-unang makakapagsabi kung you‘re being yourself. For a while kasi hindi na ‘ko by myself, so now I‘m in love with the person that I am, that I found,” Julia explained.
Julia and her love team partner Joshua Garcia have been rumored to have split. This was allegedly because Julia had a kissing scene with co-star Gerald Anderson in the movie ‘Between Maybes.’
Since then, their relationship reportedly became strained and fans feared that JoshLia is no more.
The fans became more disheartened upon learning that Joshua will soon be supposedly paired up with Janella Salvador in the upcoming series ‘The Killer Bride’ which stars Maja Salvador. Julia is not part of the cast of the said show.
But some are pinning their hopes for the tandem to stay intact as Joshua and Julia will also star in the upcoming zombie movie ‘Block Z.’
