After their successful concert in Iloilo City last January 2019, Asia’s Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose and Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista are game for the second leg of their concert series The Sweetheart and the Balladeer: Fun Night Only that will happen on July 6, 2019 at the Atrium, Limketkai Center, Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City.
The said concert is a joint project of GMA Network’s regional arm of GMA Regional TV, GMA Entertainment Group, and GMA Pinoy TV. With their special guests teen star Kyline Alcantara and the comedic tandem of Donita Nose and Super Tekla, GMA is proud to present an unforgettable concert experience to fans.
With all the achievements and success that she is enjoying at the moment, is Julie Anne still open to pursuing an international career?
“Yes po. Lahat po tayo ay gusto ring mag-step up to a higher level, na makapasok sa international scene, kaya po nakakatuwa na nadadala ang mga shows natin doon sa pamamagitan ng GMA Pinoy TV, tulad noong mag-concert kami sa Brooklyn, New York ng Studio 7 Musikalye,” she said in an interview after the press conference of her CDO concert with Christian.
“Noon po ay nagkaroon din ako na chance na makapag-record doon ng ilang songs para sa isa kong album,” she added.
“Siguro po sa akin, ayoko pong i-set aside. Open naman po ako sa kahit anong opportunity.
“I just want to keep elevating myself and keep doing better when it comes to my craft, ” she stated.
On the other hand, Christian admitted that he still has many fans in Indonesia. He also shared that whenever there’s an event there, they tap him right away to perform. With this, Asia’s romantic balladeer revealed that he is planning to produce a new single which he will release in Indonesia.
“I still go to Indonesia every time there are events there, and I’m planning a new single to be released there very soon, a new album as well for the Philippines, and for Indonesia as well.”
As of the moment, Julie Anne and Christian are preparing for their upcoming concert.
