Afternoon drama rivalry continues to be lopsided in favor of ABS-CBN Gold’s Kadenang Ginto.
In the overnight data from June 3 to 7, the hit ABS-CBN afternoon teleserye continues to dominate over its latest rival, Bihag.
Kadenang Ginto used to compete with Inagaw Na Bituin starring one of Kapuso’s main stars Kyline Alcantara. Bihag which stars Max Collins, Jason Abalos, and Mark Herras soon took over the latter;s time slot but still had no luck.
Bihag piloted last April 1 with a rating of 5.2%, far from Kadenang Ginto’s 9.0%.
Although Bihag registered its peak ratings last May 22, 2019 with 8.0%, it still couldn’t catch up to Kadenang Ginto’s 9.9%, making the latter the consistent timeslot leader.
And for the week of June 3 to June 7, 2017, the ratings of the rival programs remained the same.
Kadenang Ginto continues to lord the timeslot over Bihag with a significant gap.
For Monday, June 3, the Kapamilya Gold teleserye scored 3.8% higher than Bihag at 11.1% vs 7.3%.
The widest gap between the two was recorded on Wednesday, June 5, as Kadenang Ginto registered a rating of 11.6% vs Bihag‘s 7.05 or a margin of 4.6%.
