Former Special Assistant to the President (SAP) and new Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go promised to look into the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) law and prioritize seeking higher pay for nurses and teachers.
The Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai Delas Alas was thankful for this, however, she was annoyed by the complaints of some Facebook users about the proposed salary hike.
On June 29, she aired her frustrations on Instagram with an attached screenshot of an article from a certain tabloid.
“Magandang umaga, nakita ko lang sa facebook ang article na ito .. una salamat po SENATOR at tataasan nyo ang sweldo ng mga nurses at teachers.. nakakalungkot lang at nakakainis mga comments..

The comedienne, who is a Pro-Duterte supporter, was part of Bong Go’s 2019 senatorial campaign under PDP-Laban. She,together with a mascot, represented the absent Bong Go at a campaign rally in Cainta, Rizal in May of this year.
Go said that Ai-Ai and other celebrities helped him for free.
Bong Go’s plan on CPD Law amendment began in 2018 and now that he’s a Senator, he wants to accomplish this advocacy upon the start of his term as a senator. The fulfillment of this action might uplift the burden of the country’s professional teachers and nurses who are suffering from low salaries, unlike other professions.
