GMA Network has decided to offer another ‘kabitan’ serye on GMA Afternoon prime but with a twist: this time it has a touch of horror.
Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Buhay Ko is top-billed by Kapuso stars Megan Young, Rayver Cruz, Kim Domingo, and Kris Bernal. The suspense-drama showcases a haunting love story like no other. Its story revolves around Yvie (Megan) and Matteo (Rayver), who are childhood sweethearts who get married. Together with their adopted son, they happily moved into their new family home, along with Yvei’s best friend and cousin, Katya (Kim). But their bliss is quickly replaced by fear. Naomi (Kris), Matteo’s ex-girlfriend, will stop at nothing to disrupt their perfect lives – dead or alive.
Did the pilot episode of Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko beat Kadenang Ginto?
As expected, Kadenang Ginto remained the leader of daytime drama, winning the ratings race based on Kantar Media and NUTAM TV ratings.
According to Kantar Media ratings data on July 22, the pilot episode of Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko registered a TV rating of 11.4% while Kadenang Ginto got a TV rating of 18.6%. Hanggang sa Dulo ng Buhay Ko‘s rating is 7.2% points lower than its counterpart.
While in NUTAM, the newest Kapuso drama only scored 5.0% while its rival show on ABS-CBN hit 7.0%. Kadenang Ginto got an advantage of 2.0% points.
Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Buhay Ko airs Mondays to Saturdays right after Eat Bulaga.
