Despite the heavy rains, Anne Curtis and Marco Gumabao’s movie Just A Stranger opened on August 21 continued to draw in more moviegoers nationwide. After getting PHP 12.5 million on its opening day, Just A Stranger now has PHP 30 million in the box office after 3 days of showing in 230 cinemas.
Viva Films’ Instagram account thanked all whose who already saw the movie. “Talagang patuloy na iniiyakan at pinag-uusapan ng mga tao ang #JustAStranger! Maraming salamat po sa inyo! Kaya naman huwag ka nang magpaiwan. Nood na sa paboritong sinehan!”
The two lead actors were also happy seeing the three-day-gross of the movie, thanking their supporters on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the movie has already reached Php 52 million after 5 days.

Directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, Just a Stranger is a film that tells the story of two romantically-committed strangers who meet in Portugal and start an affair with each other. It has been called “daring” because of its trailer featuring Curtis doing intimate scenes with Gumabao, who admitted that it was his first time to enact such scenes onscreen.
